Freedam

One campaign, every market and dealer

Turn one campaign PSD into local versions

The agency delivers one Photoshop file. Freedam turns it into a template, and each dealer or country team makes its own versions: their products, their language, their prices. The layout stays exactly as designed.

Freedam handles the visual and its text. Translation is typed by the local team, and print-ready PDF stays with the agency.

One template, many products

Every dealer gets the products they actually sell

A dealer who stocks the chair and the pendant lamp does not need the sofa visual. They select their products, generate, and get one version per product from the same design.

How it works

From the agency's PSD to a dealer's version

Four steps, three people. The agency keeps working in Photoshop, marketing imports once, and the dealer never opens a design tool.

  1. 01

    The agency designs the PSD

The campaign visual is built in Photoshop as usual: product image, headline, price line, logo. Nothing changes in the creative process.

  2. 02

Marketing imports it as a template

Import PSD, map the fonts to the brand typefaces, mark the headline and price as editable fields and the product as the image placeholder.

  3. 03

The dealer picks products and language

Select the products in the gallery, generate from the template, type the local headline and prices, and get one visual per product.

  4. 04

The versions land back in the library

Each rendition is saved with the product it was made from, ready to download in JPEG, PNG or WebP, or to share.

What survives the import

The PSD keeps its layers

Text, shapes and images arrive as separate layers

  • Text layers stay text, with their font, size, colour and drop shadow. Fonts are mapped to the brand typefaces during import.
  • Solid rectangles become editable shapes. Masks, opacity, visibility and blend modes are kept.
  • Pixel layers and smart objects come in as flattened images, so complex artwork still looks right.
  • PSD files up to 200 MB. Adjustment layers and layer groups are flattened or dropped, so keep the editable parts simple.

On brand by construction

What a dealer can change, and what they cannot

Marketing decides, layer by layer, what is open. The dealer sees only those fields.

Text stays in the local language

A headline or price line marked as a field is typed by the dealer. The layout, font and size around it stay as designed.

The product photo swaps in

The template has an image placeholder. Whichever product is selected in the gallery fills it, one rendition per product.

Some things can be tuned

Per layer, marketing decides what a dealer may change: a colour, a visible or hidden badge, an opacity. Nothing else.

Some things never move

Position, size, typeface and alignment are locked. A dealer cannot shrink the logo or stretch the product.

In the product

Import PSD, then generate from the gallery

Freedam templates administration for the Nordi workspace, with the Import PSD button
Templates live in Administration. Import PSD brings the agency file in; a template set groups several formats so one generation produces them all.

Sets for the whole campaign

Group the poster, the social square and the web banner into a template set. A dealer selects three products, picks the set, and gets nine renditions in one run, each saved back to the product it came from.

Renditions can be produced at the original size or at a custom size. Layers with constraints reposition themselves; the others stay put.

Is it for you?

When localized campaigns pay off

Situations we often hear about

Freedam may be helpful when…

One campaign has to run in several countries or across a dealer network. Dealers keep asking for the visual with their own products or prices. The agency already delivers layered PSD files. You want every local version to keep the same layout and typography.

Situations where less may be enough

Your current setup may still suit you when…

You need print-ready PDF or CMYK output. Renditions are JPEG, PNG or WebP. You expect automatic translation. Local text is typed in by the local team. Your artwork depends on adjustment layers or heavy layer effects. One or two markets are enough and the agency handles them directly.

Questions buyers ask

Before you make the change

What does the agency have to change in its PSD?

Very little. Keep text as text layers, keep the product on its own layer, and avoid adjustment layers or layer groups for the parts that must stay editable. Pixel layers and smart objects are imported as flattened images. Files up to 200 MB in .psd format are supported.

Does Freedam translate the campaign text automatically?

No. Marketing marks the headline, price or claim as editable fields when the template is created, and the local team types the text in its own language when generating. The layout, font and size around the text do not change.

What output formats do dealers get?

Renditions are produced as JPEG, PNG or WebP, at the original template size or a custom size. Each rendition is saved back to the product asset it was generated from. Print-ready PDF or CMYK files are not produced by templates.

How do we keep dealers on brand?

Marketing decides per layer what can be changed: a colour, visibility or opacity. Position, size, typeface, alignment and spacing are never editable, so every local version keeps the design the agency delivered.
